Some of us always argue that which factor is the most critical for the success of new bird house? Some people may say Sound, Design or Micro, even Luck, but I personally consider ‘Location’ is the most critical among all provided the rest of factors are not wrong. Some people may term it as ‘Feng Shui’.
If you are given a choice to choose where your bird house is and you can catch it well, that is not far for your new BH to succeed, of course that is not easy. Location consist of bird population, flying path, source of food, environment etc. In order to choose a golden location, a lot of study, observation and validation need to be done.
I have seen small number of newly setup bird house at very good location, after one year can easily hit more than 150nests even using only normal quality external sound without any aroma aided.
